Data source: the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), retail price and consumer price index records. KlaroFlow does not collect these figures. We organise, chart and explain what the agencies publish.
Compare PSA’s monthly averages for 13 selected foods in Cebu Province and Cebu City, alongside Cebu Province’s consumer price index.
Using this for your business. A reference for checking price movements. Compare it with your own supplier quotes before changing a budget. These are retail market averages, not wholesale prices or supplier quotes.

PSA OpenSTAT, 2018-based series with the new geographic code (tables 0042M4ARN01 to 11). Monthly averages of PSA’s retail price surveys in selected markets, reported for Cebu (the province) and the City of Cebu. The basket here is a KlaroFlow selection of everyday items; the full tables hold many more. A month with no published figure is a gap in this report, never a zero.
Garlic in this report is PSA’s “Garlic, native” series. PSA’s separate “Garlic, imported” and “Garlic, local” series have no Cebu observations in the tables used, so they are not shown. The same is true of medium chicken eggs, red and white onions, galunggong and tilapia. None of these are filled from other provinces.
PSA OpenSTAT, CPI for all income households, 2018 = 100, with the new geographic code (tables 0012M4ACP22 and 0012M4ACP23). Monthly index and year-on-year change for the Philippines, Central Visayas and Cebu Province. The CPI measures a fixed basket for all households; it is not the price of any one item above.
These are averages across surveyed markets on survey days. They show how a provincial average moved, not what a particular store charges, and they do not explain why a price moved. Extracted through the PSA OpenSTAT API on ; later PSA revisions are not reflected until the next pull.
